WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Fallenkingairsoft.com / AirSoft Guru Edit Board forums hosts weekly airsoft battles for free all over North County San Diego. The locations, day of the week and times of these battles are listed here. Everybody is welcome to come, even if you don't have a gun yet, and bringing friends is encouraged. There are a few simple rules listed below to keep our games safe and fun for everybody.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

1. All hosted battles are FREE.

2. Everybody wears eye goggles during games or when observing games. Sun glasses don't count. Goggles should seal around the eyes with no space left for a BB to sneak in. Any goggles not designed specifically for airsoft will be tested before you are allowed to use them

3. Play begins when openly declared "Begin" and ends when declared "Game over." During the game, non-combatants may happen through our playing field. When this happens the code word "civilian" will be called out to call a seize fire. When this happens the game is paused. There is no shooting, changing location or zeroing in sights while civilians are passing through. Game resumes when "civilian clear" is called. Eye goggles stay on the entire duration of the game. Feel free to take them off in between games. Please no shooting when not in a game.

4. All guns used in games have to have their orange tips. This rule won't apply when playing in airsoft parks. When however playing in any location not specifically sanctioned for the purpose by official channels, let's keep our games legal and therefore continuing.

5. If you are shot, you are out. Regardless of where on your body you are hit. Call out "Hit" and stand up with your gun up over your head and walk off the playing field or to a respawn point depending on the game specifics. You'll be brought back to life for the next game. We sometimes implement a Medic Rule which will be declared before the game. A hit to the gun does not count and you can continue play. There is no shooting at hit combatants walking off the field. Hit combatants are not allowed to provide reconnaissance information to their teammates. Be honest please. It will be more fun for everybody.

6. The muzzle velocity limit for these battles is 550FPS. Unless otherwise stated.

7. There are no limitations on the type of equipment you use. As long as you're not bringing actual explosives, pretty much anything goes. Land mines, night vision goggles, automated sentry guns, a tank if you can afford one, whatever. Any vehicle you bring cannot be "invincible" and must have the possibility of being shot down.

8. Special requirement for minors. Anybody under 16 should bring a letter from their parents giving permission to participate including their parent's signature and phone number.

9. You play at your own risk.

We meet in the parking lot to the west of the Poway Adult School. The actual battle will take place in the patch of trees to the north of our meeting place.


Foundation in San Marcos

We meey in the parking lot behind Lowe's on time and start the actual battle about a half hour later. Please be on time so we can have more time to play for everybody. Appologies for complicated directions, but the address provided here will only take you to the correct location if typed into Google Maps.


Vietnam Jungle in Vista

We meet in the parking lot at the end of Grapevine Ln, nearest the baseball dimond.


CQB Heaven in Oceanside
3460 Mission Ave
Oceanside, CA 92058

We meet in the lounge area near the main entrance and the restrooms. The actual battle will take place around the plywood vendor structures to the north east of our meeting place.


Sand Trap in Oceanside

We meet in the large field to the north of Old Grove Rd next to the rocks.

Note:

Make sure to check the forums before coming out to be sure things are going as regularly scheduled, as we do often change times/locations on a whim to suit needs, however all changes are discussed in this thread on the last page well in advance.

There. I figure that'll make things simpler instead of jumping back and forth around different threads.

Sweet, I can probably attend schedualed games in either San Marcos or Oceanside, both are pretty nearby.

The Oceanside location is being put on hold for the time being. San Marcos however I would like to get started up. Maybe we can make San Marcos a weekend thing, say Saturday or Sunday evening after 4p?

Yeah, I'm usually free on those days, if I'm not working. I'll probably cruise by on Sunday to check out what's in your inventory. I wanna see if there is anything I can transport in my backpack because having big ass rifles or shotguns out in the open, whether I'm on the bus or Sprinter, definitely will attract alot of attention.

Haha. Gotchya. I keep wanting to show up to the battle on my motorcycle, but I've definitely had better ideas than cruising down the street with an M4 on my back. Lol

You might like the G36. It's a good, very reliable rifle that has a folding stock and fits back in the box when it's not in use or into a backpack. Extra mags are cheap and it comes with adjustable laser sight and red dot that are accurate when tuned properly. A good choice for someone who wants all the bells and whistles without paying out the ear for it all.

If you ever decide to do the motorcycle thing, let me know in advance so I ca get behind you with a camera.=D
Let's start those San Marcos battles up. Maybe we can get the Poway guys to join in on that.

Is the San Marcos location that field out by Amy's house? It looks like a good spot. The place is huge.

I saw the battle site that's based in San Marcos, it's right behind that shopping center and you guys meet up in the loading area behind Best Buy, dont'cha? I'm trying to find out if there's any Sprinter stations nearby since the only one I know of is the Buena Creek station. If anyone knows if there is a closer one, lemme know so that way it won't be that long of a trip by bike to get to the meeting spot. Perhaps the Palomar station is only about a 10 min ride away from the freeway crossing that takes me to the Foundation shopping center, I don't know. If someone can keep me updated, please do.

10-15 mins ride from the Palomar station sounds about right. The best route to take will be to head East on Mission Rd from the station, hang a right on Knoll Rd, then right on San Marcos Blvd. A left on Grand Ave will take you straight to the employee parking area behind Lowe's where we meet.

But how did you know that place was there? People that have lived there for 20 years don't even know that road is there.

Major bummer. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. I'll still make it if it's just a little sprinkle. Won't be there if it's pouring though.

I wont be able to make it Tuesday either. I'll definetely come out more when the near Oceanside locations are up and running again.

I was gonna pick something up last Sunday but I had to pay my damn phone bill and shit like that... Oh well, I guess that just means I can wait patiently in anticipation for when I get enough funds to pick up either the M4, AK47 or the Mossberg 500 (the high quality, not the chrome starter one I was supposed to get), all of which I really want badly.
